Raku Ceramic

This specialized course in ceramic creation and firing using the Raku technique is for those interested in experimental work and specific processes. Students will learn everything from preparing pieces for Raku firing.
From glazing to the firing process, unique surface textures are created.

Course duration: 2 months, including 2 classes . A minimum of 2 weeks should be allowed between the first and second classes.

* Classes are held daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (advance booking required).

Tuition fee includes

• 10 kg of soil throughout the course (Celaton / CNX)
• Raku coating (AMACO / Chrysanthos)
• Biscuit firing and raku glaze firing are free of charge and only done in the class.
• All tools can be used in the workshop.
• Free home delivery of your order up to 4 times (maximum 5 kg per delivery).

• There may be a group Raku burning event held in one round (Join Group).
• For the safety of instructors and students, please maintain a safe distance from the kiln before performing the raku burning process.
